I had to modify. Too Pink. The possums are by an #Aboriginal woman artist. Still too pink for my tastes. So created my own temp desktop for now.

As you may know:

* That is everyone. Everyone is in a separate unique #reality
* #AI is equally stupefying
* Like Ikea, I come in Piece('s)

In other words many, many people of Mastodon have my back and #backing. I will keep all #kiddies safe (mostly by not treating any toddlers or immatures , or seniles at all, I am not qualified)

HOWEVER #unqualified really is our super or superb power up. In this #life game, make friends not fiends. Iz plan!

Will not follow you for money, bribes or appearance. Will follow you mostly on the pretty random basis few people (including me) #understand

Today I have bin or been (not bean though):

1) Using #Signal video 121 for a meet using #EasyOS
2) Preparing my mind with deep sleep and #breathing.
3) #Exercised my freedom and body
4) Not ranted... well not yet...
5) Started using #Vivaldi Browser. Again. So far, so cool.
6) Seen a couple of tits (birds) outside my window.
7) Wondered if I should/could or will use exelearning.org

This morning whilst MicroSith and their death eaters were dying... I was busy.​:ablobcatbongokeyboard:​

#Installing the latest #EasyOS #Linux on my #Lenova laptop. The laptop came with Windows originally. No interest to me. I tried installing #Puppy Linux, as I am very familiar with her. Eventually however I ended up using #Manjaro until...

My password stopped working. ​:blobangery:​

Not sure why, I had the password written down but no use. It allowed me to go through a procedure of "forgotten your password". No, I have not! ​:ablobcatcoffee:​
Anyways booted EasyOS, set up 'ungoogled' #chromium #browser, whatever that is and all is well.
EasyOS is created and maintained mainly by Barry #Kauler, who also created Puppy and so I am familiar with many of the programs. ​:blobcatstrong:​

Was on a #Zoom call and heard about the #outages caused by #Crowdstrike, or whoever is taking the blame and being bought out at a reduced price by Satya Narayana Nutella (whatever that is).

Anyway I hope I am safe and wish everyone not effected all the best.🕊️

I am #familiar with many #versions of Linux. The first one I tried was #Slackware which I installed from an already out dated #CD. It took me 5 weeks to sort of get a browser (#Netscape I seem to remember) on half the screen. I was #curious and my computer friends looked at this rather pathetic display with pity and #incomprehension. What madness was this? :byebrows:

I continued, getting Linux Magazine and realising I could barely understand 5% of what was being discussed.

I was a beginner again. So began #distro #hopping with very condescending ‘help’ from the penguinated.

However …

One pre alpha distro was able to provide me with advice on my numerous #questions. Eventually I settled on using this distro, once I got it working at speed. Puppy Linux. :ablobdancer:

#Puppy was small, VERY fast and continually different. As far as I was concerned if a distro was slow, why not use Windows or Apple? :ablobslurp:

I still distro hopped but worked very hard for much of the required donkey work for Puppy. I was #fascinated by programming languages but not much of a programmer. So it was mainly #Wiki, #forums and helping #noobs, which is were Puppy became much friendlier and usable. 🤣

After many #experiences, too many to go into I am now using a rolling release, #Manjaro, #Raspbian for my #Raspberry Pi’s and one olde computer with Puppy. Barry Kauler who created Puppy is now working on #EasyOS. However I am retired from new experimental distros. Now I prefer my Windows free #choice as I move towards #FOSS. Free and Open Source Software.
