Qualche settimana fa è arrivato l'artbook di Eastward, per cui avevo contribuito al crowdfunding qualcosa come un anno e mezzo fa (!!!).
E' bellissimo e pieno di sketch e roba interessante, ma la mia cosa preferita è la mini guida in-universe di EarthBorn, il gioco nel gioco (di chiara ispirazione DragonQuestiana) di cui non sapevo di avere bisogno.

I finally beat the first boss on Eastward tonight. I picked up the game a while ago, but put it down for months when I couldn't get past the first boss. Then I decided to read up on the cooking system some more and it turns out I was leaving a lot of health/perks on the table. Oops.

J’ai commencé #eastward sur #Switch, j’accroche à l’univers, l’histoire qui se laisse entrevoir est très cool. Mais c’est llleeeeennnnnnntttt affreusement lent. Chaque cutscene les personnages mettent 1000 ans à faire 2 pas. J’en viens à réfléchir à 2 fois avant de lancer le jeu.

Du coup y’a l’option pour accélérer les cutscenes, mais ça me fait rater une partie des dialogues et me sort petit à petit du jeu 😕

Ideally something like #OctopathTraveler (but it’s quite expensive at the moment) and its #pixel graphics or like #eastward (but I haven’t read nice things about the story and late game combat)

I’m looking for a nice story, dialogs, not too hard combat (I suck at combos).

#EiyudenChronicle seems nice too (but with repetitive quests)
