Further testing of the Canon RF 200-800, *with* the 1.4x convertor attached. Which frankly shouldn't work, particularly for hand-wield, but clearly does, at the expense of a little noise (these are denoised per my usual workflow). I should probably take it off again and check noise levels without it, but when you can get this sort of performance with 1120mm of hand-held lens, it's a bit like trying not to use the One Ring.

Eastern Chipmunk

An average-sized chipmunk measuring four inches in length is almost as long as two golf tees lined up end to end. The biggest species is the Eastern chipmunk. An adult Eastern chipmunk measures about 11 inches long, from the tip of its nose to the tip of its bristly tail.

They have 2 fewer teeth than other chipmunks, 4 toes each on the front legs, but 5 toes on the hind legs.

The name comes from the Ojibwe word ajidamoo, which translates as "one who descends trees headlong."
