Rocks don't like to share. They like to keep available soil to themselves. So, when bushes and trees find a foothold, rocks get really cranky. If you listen carefully, you can hear rocks cursing plants; and you thought it was just the wind blowing through the trees!

Slim heard rumors of all the gold in these mountains. He spent 25 years barely able to eke out enough color to feed himself before he realized the gold was right in front of him. Unfortunately, leaves don't buy food!
