Retreated to my room for a couple of hours, on the basis that I've had a really good day and don't want to push my luck. Two panel slots where there are things I'd l'd like to see but won't cry if I don't, and I will probably hit the point of mild aphasia if I don't have a rest at some point today. And there is the Barbie panel this evening that I really really do not want to miss.

Lovely Easter service this morning, even if we didn't have Doug to lead us. Though one useful side effect of no consecrated bread and wine is that the bread and wine didn't have to leave the room inside someone even if we'd overcatered, unlike last year. :-)
There may be fewer of us present in person this year, but we can still raise the roof with Thine Be The Glory...

I have chosen "invertebrates in space" over "sex and relationships in fiction" for the last panel of the evening. This is because a) invertebrates are indeed in space, or at least in the Ironbridge room which is very spacious, b) I won't have to remind myself not to use audience question time to say "buy my books". :-)

Enjoyed the panel on conspiracy theories. Arrived late, so wondering if they mentioned chemtrails. Having driven from Oregon to Boston Worldcon 20 years ago I could actually see why the more paranoid inhabitants of flyover country get sucked into that one.

This hotel breakfast area is not really kitted up for the fannish locust swarm. :-) there is overflow into the foyer seating and a shortage of hot food because the staff can't keep up.

I can tell that the soap dispenser in this hotel shower was installed by a man. It's above my eye level, and I'm average height for a British woman of my age. Good thing my long, expensive physiotherapy treatment means I can lift my hands above shoulder level now.
One of the programme items is about sewing an 18th century women's pocket. Think I'll go to that.

This is not the best fish and chips I've ever had in M&S. :-( But it's protein and I was able to eat it, always good when I have migraine aura. Think I'll spend an hour in the hotel room.
