Just to add more context (too cryptic above): this comes from being thrown into rather a lot of work in our #Eastbourne Green Party exec (only just formed), because of gov decision to hold May local elections after all. We now have to organise candidates, a campaign, leafletting, etc etc.
A certain person (who I live with) remarked: “Now there is a thankless task!”
And yes, it is. But some people do this work.

Thinking about impermanence, all the more at the moment because if i lose my job we might have to move. I have moved so much in my life and used to not mind, but I really love Eastbourne and really don’t want to move; I wonder whether that’s also because of an overall sense of uncertainty and insecurity. Or maybe i am just getting older and all change seems bad..
