4⭐ Canyon View & Alameda Creek, Sunol Wilderness CA
Canyon View Trail offers picturesque views of the park, leading to some small waterfalls at Alameda Creek Overlook (aka Little Yosemite, but the park doesn't like it being called that).
The return along Camp Ohlone Rd is flat and dusty - I'd have preferred an o&b of Canyon View Trail.

5⭐ Flag Hill Loop, Sunol Wilderness CA
Spring time is the best time for East Bay hiking. At Sunol I hiked this loop, and also the popular Alameda Creek hike. This one was the best of the two.

How easy is it to go kayaking at anthony chabot from the family campground? A quarter mile hike to the edge and launch? Or is there a specific place?
I’m not seeing launches on the map…

Morning #Hike at #RedwoodRegional in #oakland
Parked at #RobertsRegional, then took Graham to Dunn to Baccharis to West Ridge, then down Orchard to Bridle, and along Bridle until it terminates at Chown.
Went up Chown to French, and continued west until Redwood Peak, which led up to Madrone/West Ridge and took me back down to Graham and Roberts Regional.

Had a lovely morning hike with the #WildernessQueers meetup group.
We did #StreamTrail on an out and back from skyline gate. I didn’t take pictures because it was too rainy!

Morning #Hike in #RedwoodRegional
Started at #SkylineGate, took #EastRidge to #PhillipsLoop to #PrinceTrail to #StreamTrail for a short 5k.
Hoping to get back into #TrailRunning once I shake the last of this cough.
It's a great park for trail running because you can easily adjust to whatever distance you want while still doing loops. The #EastRidge -> #PhillipsLoop -> #EuclyptusTrail -> #StreamTrail is a 2 miler with a little bit of hills. But take Phillips to Prince and you get a nice 5k with a touch more up and down.

Point Molate has been called "the most beautiful part of SF Bay no one's ever heard of" -- and now it's going to be a park!
Spread the word; we want more people to visit this special place:
