My wife and I watched the Earthshot Prize awards on PBS the other night. It was quite a production, packed with music stars, well known sports figures, politicians, other VIPs, and even a sprinkling of royalty.I was annoyed and a bit disgusted.

I went to a NBA game tonight (which was amazing), after the first quarter they talked about the Earthshot Prize and then proceeded to give out a bunch of merch to a fan as an 'Earthshot prize'. Felt like a bit of a surreal disconnect between consumerism and the environment, but it was still really exciting to see climate work on such a big stage! 🌎
