  1. It’s #EarthquakeReport Day! The M8.8 Kamchatka #earthquake was HUGE, as you can see in the cumulative energy‑release plot but no one died because it struck such a remote area. The deadliest events were the M7.7 Myanmar, M6.0 Afghanistan, and M7.1 Tibet quakes, which caused around 8,000 deaths. ⚒️🧪
