Several oak trees were killed last autumn along a path I walk, where private land meets a nature reserve. The private landowners needed to build an awful barbed wire fence apparently, in addition to stripping the land bare anywhere near it. So I planted some of the acorns that were left behind. Meet Baby Oak. (And fuck that new metal fence, actually.) (Except not literally I guess)

From the #woods yesterday, where I connect to what I love the most. Made this #altar out of love for the earth, in quiet meditative connection to her. Made of weaving fallen branches into 2 circles, a bit of moss, and 4 oak leaves marking the directions like a compass. 💚
