edit: welp, dats the most #Linux shit ever but the fix was to delete a #wireplumber dir lol ~/.local/state/wireplumber. A restart after that fixes it.

it'd be kinda cool, if there was a hybrid earpod+airpod.

The volume and track control buttons are much better on the wired earpods. This goes back to essentially transitioning from the iPod classic click wheel to the earpods remote. The earpods remote is essentially the spiritually successor to the click wheel. Makes it effortless to do volume and track control without looking at the screen. That's all missing with the airpods, unfortunately. So, having a hybrid USBC+bluetooth set of airpods with remote would be nice.

Microphone is better too.

If the battery is low, the ability to just plug directly into the iphone USBC port so it could be charged, while on the go and being used at the same time, until it reaches a level of charge where it could again be disconnected from the USBC port of the iPhone, and the phone could be pocketed more easily once again.

I wear my #Bose QC35 all day when I'm home, #AirPods Pro when I'm out, and regular #EarPods when I go to sleep. Every now and then (becoming more frequent recently), my bones somewhere inside my right ear hurts really badly that I can barely even tap on it with my finger - when this happens I can apply no pressure to it like sleep on it or wear any of my ear/headphones on the right side.

Maybe it's not so crazy considering my ears are plugged almost 24/7 but I'm always so curious why it's always my right ear and never my left. It'd make more sense if I hurt both or at least just my left ear from time to time but it's always just the right.

EXACTLY. I literally cannot wear in-ear #earbuds, for comfort reasons and also to avoid fatigue and dizziness. It drives me insane how there aren't many of them, and not many of them are good. #Apple's regular #EarPods are comfortable (to my ears), but they don't last long despite how expensive they are. There are other cheap ones that are similar and work fine, but none that comes to mind that I'd recommend. Apple's #AirPods might be the only/best non in-ear buds there is rn, but if you use it too often, I cannot stomach having to dispose of the AirPods after a couple of years (after 1 year even) when its battery gets scuffed. This is probably true for any wireless earphones (maybe even headphones).

I have to say though, as someone who's anti in-ear earphones my whole life, #AirPodsPro has my approval. I don't know what magic they pulled (it's apparently partly has to do with the vents) but wearing them in your ears, + enable the bud's Transparency mode (which until today is still the ONLY good transparency/awareness mode to exist even compared to other expensive, much bigger #headphones like #Sony's XM line and #Bose's QC line), you will literally feel like you're not wearing anything - comfort-wise AND most importantly, hearing-wise. You will hear ur surroundings not 1db quieter, or louder, it's really that natural sounding.

Despite feeling like you're not wearing anything in your ears though, and it is THAT comfortable, it will still hurt the insides of ur ears if u wear it all day/night. But that could just be me, since I have earphones on even while sleeping. My only complaint I have of the AirPods Pro though other than the pain I sometimes get after extremely long use, is that I find it... pretty quiet. I'm not sure if it's true, but it certainly feels quieter even when compared to my regular AirPods Gen 1. The mic is pretty meh too if that matters, the mic on the regular wired EarPods is significantly better.

Zachciało mi się ostatnio "wygody i komfortu" słuchawkowego na spacery, rower i w ogóle bezprzewodowo, więc kupiłem sobie słuchawki bluetooth douszne (nie dokanałowe) takie wykonane podobne do #AirPods (bo z #EarPods na kablu jestem bardzo zadowolony). No i żeby jedne słuchawki były do laptopa, Androida i iPhone.

Ponieważ nie chciałem dać 700zł na AirPodsy to kupiłem Lenovo za 80zł. I o ile w trybie profilu słuchawek (do słuchania) są całkiem spoko (choć zasięg i zakłócenia to trochę problem) to w profilu do rozmów, gdy włączają się mikrofony, to jest tragedia.

To znaczy dla osób z którymi rozmawiam pierwszy raz, to mówią, że ujdzie. Ale dla osób, z którymi rozmawiam dużo i często, to straszny problem (weź to wyrzuć, gdzie masz stare).

Ale do brzegu:
czy droższe tego typu słuchawki, np. Sony za 250zł są lepsze? Jest sens sprawdzać?
Czy dopiero AirPods od Apple działają dobrze? (jeśli działają dobrze?)

Rozmawiam czasem z osobami korzystającymi z AirPods i cóż, "dupy nie urywa". Ale podobno te nowsze to już "urywają".
Tylko że 3 gen. to ponad 900zł
(a ja czasem gubię, topię albo niszczę inaczej słuchawki) a AirPods Pro to 1300zł.

Drogi blipie, co radzisz?

Bo jeszcze myślałem o takich z pałąkiem, nie "do uszu", ale tam mikrofon też jest przy uchu i zbiera "tak sobie".

Takie "niezłe" z pałąkiem to jakieś 200zł za JBL albo Sony, dałbym radę cenowo, ale to ani do muzyki (drivery 30mm) ani do gadania (mikrofon przy uchu).

P.S. Do muzyki używam dużych słuchawek na kablu, drivery 50mm, wysoka impedancja, to nie to zastosowanie).
