Early light creeping in like a slow reveal.
Cold air, quiet pavements, the city holding its breath.
A clean start, sharpened by the silence.

Ergghhh - 4am awake #BonnieTheDogNextDoor whining softly. I canโt get back to sleep because I start thinking about the split system that will installed at some stage over the next 60 days ๐ณ.
Thinking:
Should I move the bed, itโs going on the wall above the bed. Can I move the bed? I used to be able to move the bed! What happens when I want to get rid of this bed & buy a smaller bed. How will I get my old bed out the room? Itโs bolted together because the last time I tried to move it I pulled the footboard off ๐ช๐ผ ! Do removalists do this type of work? If not, who does if family canโt help. I must take the clothes & stuff to the op shop today, I need to remember to take those board games too! Maybe I should just get up!
Ugh - 5am - Iโm getting up & realise #BonnieTheDogNextDoor is whining because someone is also awake next door & lights are on. So Iโm up & put the kettle on & my watch tells me Iโve slept the grand amount of 4hrs 20mins ๐ซค. While I wait for the kettle to boil I get those board games out so I donโt forget them later.
Itโs 6.30am, cuppa is finished, itโs not quite dawn, or maybe itโs just grey skies- I feel ragged & Iโll be in bed early tonight.
Iโm going to have another cuppa โ Morning everyone ๐๐ผ๐ซฉ. #EarlyMorning #Dawn #Sleep #WhatSleep #Tired #OverThinking -

The plus of taking the early flight home: if all goes well, Iโll be home before noon.
The minus of the early flight: it is 3:45 am and thereโs bright light, noise, and people.
(And yes, flying, I know. In my defence: the drive takes three days each way.)
