#Windkraft wird seit dem #EAG zwar gut gefördert, aber die Bundesländer genehmigen zu wenig Anlagen. Eine Lösung wäre das #EABG (Erneuerbaren-Ausbau-Beschleunigungsgesetz): Dort werden für jedes BL dem Potential entsprechende Verpflichtungen für Vorrangzonen festgesetzt. Das würde auch den Netzausbau (=Stromgebühren) senken.

Laut #Klimaministerium ist das EABG fertig. Die #Volkspartei scheint zu blockieren. 4/8

Das Umweltbundesamt hat die erste Analyse der THG #Emissionen von 2023 vorgestellt: Der gute Wert von 2022 wurde deutlich unterschritten und laut Regierung sind wir auf Zielpfad für 2040.

Wie schon 2022 ist es eine Mischung aus den politischen Rahmenbedingungen (Erneuerbaren-Ausbau-Gesetz (#EAG), CO2-Preis mit #Klimabonus, Raus aus Öl und Gas Förderung, ...) und der starken Sensibilität in der Bevölkerung seit der Ukrainekrise.

Österreichische Wissenschafter·innen haben - koordiniert durch das #CCCA - eine Stellungnahme zum aktualisierten nationalen 🇦🇹 #Energie- und #Klima-Plan (#NEKP) geschrieben.

Trotz positiver Ansätze wie Erneuerbaren-Ausbau-Gesetz (#EAG), #Klimaticket, oder nationale #CO2-Bepreisung, sind die im NEKP vorgeschlagenen Maßnahmen unzureichend - selbst bei vollständiger Umsetzung würde es noch zu einem Überschreiten des Treibhausgasbudgets kommen.
