Just watched the Netflix Adaptation of the Scott Westerly book 'Uglies' - It was Directed by McG
Lots of adaptation choices were made, nearly all of them were *Deeply Stupid.*
The book was (good, layered) dystopian YA fiction, first published in 2013 .
The film has all the trappings of being a sub-par Dystopian YA adaptation
Such a wasted opportunity.
Finally Laverne Cox needs to fire her agent because her role is HELLA PROBLEMATIC
