2 Inner Gate
The inner gate used to be barred, but the fastener rusted and the goblins haven’t repaired it. It’s heavy enough to take an action to open. If the goblins are alert and manning the murder holes, any character between the two gates takes 1d4 damage from dropped rocks, shivs, and other garbage after their turn. The surface and above will be mostly goblins, a few bugbears, and some wolves.
I like the idea that they don’t use the underground sections, but dump their garbage and occasional prisoners down the trapdoor to feed some giant spiders that live down there.
