I post about troubling things as well as lighter things because I hope that someone, in reading them, may be able to relate and not feel as alone in their situation. Though it may bum some people out, I am more concerned about making a connection with people whose situations may also feel isolating. @glauber Case in point: I just found out my Mom died tonight and no one told me. I only found out because I saw a call from someone outside the family and started checking around. @glauber Thank you. It is a difficult situation and hard to describe what it feels like. It's a lifelong heartache that never ends. I'll probably protest until it feels like I can't anymore. Except for posting about it here on the world wide web---lols--- I try to maintain some silence because getting into it in real life does me no good and isn't appropriate at the moment. I have this fear I'll be the last to know about my Mom's death. It won't be a malicious act necessarily, but a simple oversight. Being a black sheep isn't always bad, but there are some downsides. The female minister who is involved with final arrangements called earlier but didn't leave a message. And I had drifted off early without taking my meds. No word and I can't reach anyone.
