My Dying Light: The Beast tourist trip is going really well...I almost have the completed Rogue Armor Set (this will allow me to finally deal with some of those Volatile Hives that are hanging about).
It's fun to follow some guides, and do the work to reach the locations that have secrets in them! I often generally just follow directions to the place and figure out the area myself.
Often setting out during the start of the day to give myself the most time to succeed on one of these guided adventures.
I think after collecting all the lore, collecting all the weapons, clearing two Volatile Hives, and finishing the two remaining side quests. I'll have had my fill of the game. Unlike Dying Light, and even Dying Light 2...There's no strong incentive to keep playing. Dying Light: The Beast.

Hmm, I think that I will take a field trip in Dying Light: The Beast and snag some weapons that I missed on my first run!
I have saved a list of things to do, and will be doing throughout this mini-field trip around the game world. Can't wait to get everything that I managed to miss in my hurry to beat the game as fast as possible!

Eh, apparently the "big" update for Dying Light: The Beast tomorrow is really going to be a Nightmare mode, but different. There are going to be legitimate changes like Infected not respawning, hunger being a bigger factor, and other changes that will make those that love game difficulty to abuse them happy.
When Techland said they had a big update for The Beast, I was hoping for more story, a new area of Castor Woods to explore. I thought something akin to The Following, but really this update is middling in my opinion.
It's okay if people want it, but I don't think that Restored Lands is that big an update for Dying Light: The Beast.

After wading through the incredible amounts of bullshit; I've completed the main story of Dying Light: The Beast. The end was an unexpected twist and a hook for another game in the franchise.
I'm amused because the story is better than I expected; despite the hints that I've seen about how it might end.
Techland did a good job and I give them flowers for this game. A solid 4.2 dropkicked Infected out of 5.

I was doing my part and blowing the Infected up, while on my mural discovery (following a guide) activity is in progress...
I'm going to get more materials for explosives. As my in-game ordinance supply is low. The Scavenger Outfit is so good for this, as I was able to make so many explosives earlier today. Finding big enough clusters of the Infected is the actual challenge. I don't want to blow up the smallish groups and call in virals for nothing much. :brdKnife:
After my break for dinner, I'll probably continue my explosives kill count era and playful mural hunting side activity!

I unlocked Legend Levels in Dying Light: The Beast after completing the second to last Main Quest. I'm going to try for reaching the Community Goal of blowing up a lot of zombies while exploring the world and finding lore whenever possible.
Castor Woods is pretty rad, I do wish the main story was longer and there were more side quests.
I can do a lot of post-game tomfoolery (Legend Levels have rewards associated with them). It's a good reason for me to continue playing a bit more. Allowing me to get much better at parkour.

Redownloading Animal Crossing: New Horizons because in January the substantial update drops.
I won't buy any of Nintendo's current offerings, but that doesn't stop me from still playing games on my owned system (until the day it either dies or cannot be repaired without high cost).

The next Dying Light: The Beast challenge for the community is called: Run for Your Life.
