Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus am pawb / Happy St David's Day to all! 1st March is the Welsh National Day 🏴
These daffodils were in bloom up here on the Berkeley Hills here in California today, here seen with a backdrop of eucalyptus trees in the fog nicely blending the country of my birth (Wales), my adopted home of Australia and where I live now in Berkeley.

CW: Lots of simultaneous in-world events today; CW: long (over 700 characters)
Today is one of those days on which simply too much happens in the Hypergrid at the same time.
There's the World Zero Discrimination Day event in ZetaWorlds which starts in a bit over an hour and a half.
There's the grand opening of OpenSim World's Fair in the Wolf Territories.
There's an unlisted St. David's Day Dance on the Welsh sim Redoutable in Speculoos Grid.
Not to mention a whole lot of more or less regular events.
Maybe we'll do some event hopping today.

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi hapus. Dw i wedi cael sgwrs Cymraeg bore 'ma. Nawr, dw i ar y bws, mynd gartre i weld fy nheulu ac wedyn (ar ôl ginio) gwneud pice ar y maen.

Happy St David's Day/ Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant hapus! 🏴 ✨
Welsh folklore tells us that the humble leek can repel evil spirits, alleviate childbirth pains, predict the future, protect in battle, even shelter from lightning.
A handy vegetable!

I'm a little late for St. David's Day (Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant Hapus!) but I tried to make up for it by making leek and Stilton soup, and pice ar y maen for dessert.

Jyst yn gwrando i Breichiau Hir ac rydw i wedi fy ysbrydoli. Mae'n hawdd i meddwl bod yna ffordd gul o fod yn Gymro, ond Cymreictod yw beth dy ni angen e i fod. #DyddGwylDewiHapus #DyddGwylDewi
Just listening to Breichiau Hir and it's inspiring me and reminding me that Welshness is open and inclusive. Our identity is what we need it to be. #StDavidsDay

💞 This week's #MercherMindful falls on #DyddGwylDewi - #StDavidsDay - a day of cultural celebration in #Cymru #Wales
"Gwnewch y pethau bychain mewn bywyd" is a maxim of #DewiSant and means "do the the little things". David was a teetotal vegan ascetic who taught that it's the little things day to day that matter most.
One of the small things you can do today is #PlantATree with a free tree from @CoedCadw https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/plant-trees/wales-tree-giveaway/
