Well, I want to go to the next open Mondays of @xHain_hackspace. Very likely I will find someone already working on it.

I also found a friend who got a #LoRa device at #DwebCamp, another event I just missed. ;/

The non-addictive nature of the #Fediverse has a downside: if you take a break, you might miss out on great things happening near you!

🚄 Berlin to Sanremo

This thread documents my journey home from #DWebCamp, exclusively via railway, expected to last 25 hours.

More specifically: yesterday I travelled back to Berlin from Alte Hölle, Wiesenburg (Mark) station; today from Warschauer Straße to Berlin Hauptbanhof, then to München Hauptbanhof, then overnight to Firenze Campo di Marte, then tomorrow to Genova Piazza Principe, and finally to Taggia Arma.

I had a lovely lunch with part of the @fsfe staff at the Software Freedom Flat today.

Many memories from the place, and plenty of interesting conversationssss!

I was talking to @technostructures and @michael at #dwebcamp about the idea of having a bridge-a-thon, some sort of in person event where people who are working on bridging open protocols could explore the potential primitives together.

It was such a fun to host the #PublicAI track of this year’s #DWebCamp with the brilliant @brunovianna and @metasj!
Special shoutouts to Václav Pavlín and @Wtebbens who joined Bruno and I for a conversation about making local AI work for communities 🔥

🌍 We just got back from Dweb Camp, hosted by the Internet Archive in the German forest — and what a gathering.

Alongside @commonsnetwork @goteo_fund and friends across the Fediverse, we presented the Democratic Tech Fund prototype and ran sessions on governance, P2P financing, and community-owned social spaces.
