I thought #DVSA were requiring photos of #vehicle being presented for test? Would also be relatively easy to add #GNSS receiver to #MOT testing kit and/or the device used to take the photos - this, alongside time analysis of the requests sent to the testing system should make it easier to authenticate legitimate vehicle tests..

(This relates to Great Britain's compulsory vehicle inspection regime, which is mostly carried out by approved independent #garages )

#DVLA database updated (from #DVSA #MOT record) yesterday afternoon - so about 24 hours lag..

TIL: There is a lag between #DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) and #DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) databases - I had my car #MOT inspection done today (passed with 0 advisories), but my code to check the DVLA database still shows the old expiry date (the DVSA MOT website shows the correct info with todays test date).

Maybe the two databases only synchronise overnight?
