  1. With 99.7% of votes tallied, it looks like D66's Rob Jetten will be the next prime minister of the Netherlands — by the narrowest of margins, with far right populist Geert Wilders snapping at his heels, and with weeks or months of negotiations over which parties will form the governing coalition. @BBCNews takes a look at how 38-year-old Jetten pulled the liberal D66 party from fifth place to the top in less than two years.

  2. 1) Disturbing outcome in the #DutchElection where #GeertWilders and his Freedom Party (PPV) will control 37 or a 1/4 of the seats in the Tweede Kamer

Wilders is known for his hostility to #migrant communities particularly members of the #Islamic community. He is also known for his or his #Euroskeptic positions and has endorsed a “Nexit” referendum

Unsurprisingly congratulations have been proffered by #ViktorOrban

  3. Not saying I'll never trust a dutch person again - but it's going to be a while before I trust the dutch as a people.

I mean, just how f**king braindead do you have to be to vote for right wing extremism now, a time when you can't swing a dead cat without hitting some alt-right c**khole who was elected for something, only to put their jackbooted foot in a bucket of fish & then their mouth, then fall over and drop a box full of evidence of their incompetence, crime & pettiness?

  4. Bloody Hell, the Dutch have voted for the Nazis. I'd always thought of the Dutch as a sensible lot. Guess I was wrong.

Let's hope the non-Nazi politicians are sensible enough not to go into coalition with the Nazis so the Nazis don't actually get to govern the country.
