Snuck in a Duskmourn draft this afternoon, and managed to trophy on my first run. (7-2, high plat)
Had some pretty fun lines in some of these games! (including a double Plague-Wind, and a Wanderer drawing like 8 cards off of 2x Locker Room)

2-1 at #Duskmourn #mtgdsk pre-release last night. I wasn't very happy with my pool. Ended up running GB ramp/control basically. Played my green deck against three other green decks, which has been my cold prediction for the format for a while.
Few notes:
- Manifest Dread tucking a creature did not happen often (maybe 20%).
- Delirium wasn't much work.
- Strong one-drops are back.
- Meathook Massacre II wasn't very good. -
Spouse and I just busted the packs from our #Duskmourn prerelease kits, and it's looking fun. Our actual kitchen table prerelease games probably won't be til tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to it.

I've been itching to play #Commander for the last few weeks. With #Duskmourn right around the corner and #Bloomburrow almost behind us, I built a silly little food sacrifice deck. It has a few other cards to help with alt-win-cons too, so, anyway... here it is! Tried to keep it sub-$100 but that's about as close as I could get it.

Speaking of #Duskmourn I'm so hype for how cool the Overlord cycle looks. I can definitely fit the Blue and White ones in Yorion, and the Green and Red horrors make me want to build that Klothys deck I've been putting off. Waiting to see what the Black Overlord does before I can know what decks it would go in #mtg #MagictheGathering

The weird thing about #Duskmourn is how it has incredible worldbuilding, atmosphere and monsters, only to throw it all away for jokey trope cards like Acrobatic Cheerleader. Like the thing that made "tropey" cards work in older sets was that something like an unlucky Black Cat made sense in and didn't clash with the tone of the world of Innistrad #MTG #MagictheGathering

At #pax this year, #magicthegathering will have a panel for #duskmourn on the Main Stage, Saturday, August 31st at 2pm. IIRC this will be the first time since 2018 at #paxwest they’ve had a panel. #DSK #wizardsofthecoast
