Endlich mal #Borgbackup für meine #linux Kisten eingerichtet. Wenn man von #duplicity kommt, muss man paar mal um die Ecke denken, aber dann läuft das echt sehr geschmeidig.

Cool: Es kann btrfs Snapshots verwenden. Nicht Cool: dann geht Caching nicht mehr und das Backup dauert hier Faktor ~500 länger. Aber borg2 soll das ja lösen.

I never realized making everyone spend time in the most crowded, most slowly moving lines would end up "prioritizing the general traveling population" - I thought that would just slow down throughput for everyone, creating longer, slower lines. At some point in the last few months, deja dup has gotten unbearably slow. When I use duplicity directly with backblaze, my backups take 10 minutes; with deja dup (presumably using restic now) it takes over an hour.

Part of the problem was that at some point in these updates, several of my ignored folders were not being ignored (confirmed by looking at dconf), but I fixed that weeks ago.

Any thoughts?

Just noticed that YouTube has a ribbon icon next to their logo currently and when you hover over it it says "In solidarity with the Jewish community".. Meanwhile how many Palestinians have the jewish killed in the past year? 70,000 is it?.. I've never once seen YouTube mention that..

Yes, it is sad that 15 innocent people died, but it should NOT distract from or sweep under the proverbial rug the ongoing genocide of an entirety of innocent people.

Quick note: if you are using #Duplicity (even via #DejaDup), we're seeing a bug with the new version 3.0.6 where it doesn't recognise the encryption password. Reported upstream here:

It's just unbelievable how disgusting Russia is treating Iran, despite their fake support of the country.

For over 7 years there has been talks of Iran purchasing upto 3 squadron of SU-35s, the same with S-400 air defense systems.

But all other countries who ordered them have received part of their orders, but Russia is only sending Iran 1980s based products.
