Delighted to manage a rare outing for me to Dundee University Botanic Gardens. I sketched while my husband photographed plants, birds and butterflies. I didn't have my wheelchair today, instead two sticks, but was really pleased with where I got to. Frequent sitting breaks! Just heard that my honorary research fellowship has been renewed for another 3 years. Huge thanks to Dundee University for this. I've held this fellowship continuously since 2010, and it helps me continue to function as a productive academic, despite my progressive neurological illness getting worse. #DundeeUniversity #academia #ChronicIllness
