Have you deleted your facebook archive?

I officially removed myself from everything to do with Facebook in 2021. Of course, it allows you to save an archive of your time there. So I did. It would have gone back to the beginnings of FB... so 2007? Anyway, the archive is 24GB.

I've looked at it maybe twice since downloading it. Haven't even thought about it for a couple years.

Now I need to free up space on my iMac (to better support my #selfhost mastodon server!)

I'm deleting it. It's going away. I feel like I'm throwing away a useless family heirloom that's been sitting in the basement for far too long.
