IF THAT CANNOT HAPPEN …
.... well … I’ll just have to turn the speakers up … and sit closer to the screen.
I don’t think my neighbours would be happy if I tore down The Wall.

#DSotM - my older brother got a tape player in maybe 1975, and he played it endlessly. He may have only had one cassette tape.
I remember, at the age of 5 *much* preferring anything on that album to anything by the Bay City Rollers, Gary Glitter, Abba, etc.

Well…that, as they say, is 48 minutes of my life I’m never getting back.
If you want to listen to #RogerWaters reciting spoken word/poetry over the top of some down-tempo covers of #DSotM, go for it.
This has none of the energy or edge that Is This The Life… (or the original Dark Side, for that matter) surprised many of us with. It feels very sad and mournful, and is missing Waters’s trademark bitterness and spite for the most part.
I gave it a chance, but doubt I’ll go back for a second go
