Recently I found out that #Microsoft is taking the #Xbox360Store offline next year. This is a problem for video game archival and preservation. Slightly less critically, I don't have an #Xbox360 so I can't record a video tour series thing like I've done for the #DSiShop, #WiiShopChannel, #3DSeShop, and #WiiUeShop (last two are currently being edited but I haven't been working on it much lately due to being lazy).

I think it's interesting how my Windows Update for Windows XP series ended up basically being an unintentional prototype for my DSi Shop/Wii Shop Channel/3DS eShop/Wii U eShop video tours.

Last night I had a dream that I was watching an Hbomberguy video on why it's bad for games to rely on online services, like ones that give you new stuff to play every few weeks, and the #DSiShop post-shutdown was shown as an example (it was empty, nothing, nothing there at all).
