Oh, brilliant! 🤔 Let's treat "dry eye" by harnessing the majestic power of #photosynthesis because clearly, #chlorophyll is the answer to all our ocular woes. 🌿 Just don't forget to enable JavaScript and cookies, because everyone knows that's step one of becoming a human plant hybrid. 😂

I started reading up on PDRN after seeing skin care products touting it as an ingredient. How it is produced is gross - apparently there are vegan versions and I want look up the literature on them to see if they are comparable in activity.
I don't know if topical application works, but I may try a product to see for myself. I'm particularly interested in PDRN eye drops for dry, irritated eyes (ReAn). The drops are sold OTC in Korea; I don't know if I can get them here or have them shipped.
The MOA is interesting. I would have thought that foreign DNA fragments would act as a DAMP and increase inflammation, not reduce it. I could see DAMPs spurring regeneration, though.

Been eating a clementine, as a late afternoon snack, for just over a year and it has taken me that long to figure out that they are causing me to have dry eyes! (Boy, I can be a little dense sometimes.) There seems to be a 6 hour delay between clementine consumption & worsening eye dryness & this helped me to finally make the connection. It seemed odd that my eyes were so scratchy every night at 9:30.

New from US:Symptoms and signs of dry eye in US veterans with Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome
"Individuals who met criteria for ME/#CFS had more severe ocular surface pain, but similar signs of DE [dry eye], compared to controls. This suggests nerve, & not tear, abnormalities contribute to ocular surface pain in #MECFS"
