Now that the #Drupal CMS 'starterkit' version is out and gaining traction, the most interesting and important addition is going to be collaborative editing. And from this post, it looks like the hard work is starting to pay off. Exciting!

Drupal CMS will be developed alongside the traditional "Drupal Core" platform.

It's the culmination of the "Starshot Initiative" announced last May as a response to (some legitimate!) criticisms that Drupal was too difficult and user unfriendly.

I've been returning to do some work in Drupal over the past couple years and am finding a lot to be inspired by and hopeful for in this new initiative.
