Went to my first "First Friday" drum circle on Friday. It was loud and the rhythm was hypnotizing. There were two junjun guys who were so good, and really got the beats started, with escalating tempos that really brought in the crowds for dancing. So many people jumped in and grabbed drums and bells, it was all such a great vibe. So many dancers! Highly recommended

So fun. Large turnout and lots of people in full costume. It was great. They had a potluck and someone brought Donuts too! So fun.

This photo was taken at the Fund Raising event for the after school program at Bethlehem Lutheran #Church in #Longmont.
#Djembe Orchestras of #Colorado #Performed for about an hour and then we invited the audience members to join us for a drum circle.We raised $1500 for neighborhood #latchkey kids (after school snacks and activities) and we raised some awareness of the joys of #drumming with others.
