So, at the timestamp, they start this whole drum-dialogue-trio thing which is really fun with the whole live atmosphere.
And then at 7:46, the drummer of the band starts his solo and shows off. :D

Was a bit difficult getting into the 'Jamie Saft Trio Plays Monk' album because I had to return to the beginning of the opening Hamid Drake Drum solo three times.
But I finally got in, and the rest of the album is also brilliant.

I was in Trader Joe's in Santa Fe yesterday, and their in-house music system started playing Iron Butterfly's "In A Gadda Da Vida".
I expect it was the radio single version, because probably nobody wants a 2-1/2 minute drum solo while shopping.
Well, except me. Perhaps.

Back in 1993 I played a drum solo in the middle of an Alice in Chains concert. And jammed a little with Jerry Cantrell. And it made me a little more "Tucson famous."
