  1. More than 100 years after it was lost beneath the Antarctic ice, Sir Ernest Shackleton’s ship Endurance has been brought back into view with an extraordinary 3D digital scan. Found in 2022 nearly 3 kilometers beneath the Weddell Sea, the #wreck remains remarkably intact. High-resolution images now show dinner plates, a flare gun mentioned in crew journals, and a boot believed to belong to Frank Wild, #Shackleton ’s second-in-command.   2. The Trans-Siberian Egg (1900 AD), made in Saint Petersburg - Russia; and from 1927 at the Kremlin Armory Museum...

    The egg contains, divided into three sections, the model of a steam train, 39.8 centimeter long, in gold, platinum, rosette-cut diamonds, rubies, and rock crystal.

    The steam locomotive and the tender are gold and platinum, with a ruby lantern and diamond lanterns, the five wagons are gold with rock crystal windows
