I'm a bit involved in a biodiversity improvement project on our local common.
-Reducing encroaching brambles & replanting wild flowers to recreate a meadow. .
Some species planted there earlier in the year (when we still knew what rain was) grew, flowered a bit & dried to death before seeding. Very sad.Yarrows doing ok though & willowherb looking good in other places.
Anyone any suggestions for more native drought hardy wildflower species? (UK)
