Okay fellow #vegan #Canadians - I need some #boot #recommendations I have some #DocMartens that aren't cutting it. They're difficult to get on and off, and aren't warm enough.
I'd love a slip-on chelsea boot kinda thing. Was eyeballing the Icebug Valda-NT (pictured), but they are out of my size. Is there anything similar?
Must be vegan, easy on/off, and come in black - bonus points if they are "outdoorsy" and/or fit a #punk-ish aesthetic. Assume price is not an issue.

V roku 2000 som nastúpil do firmy ECCO v Martine, pracoval tam 5 rokov, z toho pár mesiacov v centrále v Dánsku. S výnimkou najjednoduchších tenisiek do fitka, na beh, tretier na bicykel a posledné roky mám už druhý pár barefoot Fivefingers, som si od toho roku nekúpil obuv inej značky. Až dodnes. Dnes sa moje moje nohy vybrali inou cestou.
Mimochodom, podľa dostupných informácií firma #DrMartens, na rozdiel od firmy #ecco, prestala predávať Ruᛋᛋákom už dávno.

The Docs are great! The laces they come with, not so much - so I've been scouring both local shops & the intarwebz for some nice, heavy, round laces (which apparently aren't a thing anymore; were you asked? Because I certainly wasn't...).

They're vintage daahling!
Every 5 years or so I remember I own these and thank my 1990s self for buying them.
...and this time I actually did the thing I've been meaning to do and bought them new laces and insoles so I can bring them back into service! Just need to take a purple sharpie to that wee hole in the toe and we are good to go 😊

The Boy went to a birthday party yesterday and apparently got lots of compliments on his new shoes. Rocking his #Docs.

When I turned back a couple of minutes later, I found this. This is PT, he is very obviously a #police officer, and he took it upon himself to whip out some boot polish and a couple of brushes and make sure these second hand boots for my #grandson were in perfect nick.
It was such a nice and thoughtful thing for him to do, totally unprompted.
PT is proof and reassurance today that ACAnotB at all. PT is a genuinely good man.
