I am VERY grateful for the much-mocked-and maligned McDonalds/hot coffee lawsuit today! Stopped at the drive-thru to get my wife for a quick cup of coffee. Lid wasn't on properly, and as I was passing it to her, the lid popped off and the cup squashed in my hand, soaking my thigh. It hurt for some time and I wasn't happy, but no real damage done thanks to the temperature reduction after McDs lost in court. I don't even DRINK coffee!
