Publicans of Ireland: any of your customers that would drink Beavertown beers (presumably they will distribute pales ales and IPAs) would probably be just as happy to drink a similar beer from a local independent brewery instead.

The #DrinkIrish tap tracker now has over 800 venues that serve independent Irish beer!
Thanks to all who helped get to that number, it represents almost 29% of the venues in the database!
There are more to add, but it’s great to see the number climbing.

So, Irish publicans created the whole problem by forcing a duopoly of #Heineken and #Diageo and now are disappointed after these companies used their leverage to raise prices. Not a dig at Blue Note tho, they have plenty of good stuff on taps. Anyway #SupportLocal #DrinkIrish
