We've always called it the 'Mighty Murray.' But in recent years, our most iconic river has struggled to live up to the legend. In fact, it had slowed to a feeble trickle, sucked dry by years of drought and the demands of those who rely on its bounty. Then it rained. And rained. And, rained some more.
