Django Rest Framework (DRF) - чуть ли не единственный фреймворк для разработки REST на базисе Django. Мой нарратив о Django в прошлой статье заключался в том, что это неповоротливый монолит, который абсолютно не следует best practices и не стремится к ним. Если вдруг вы не задумывались о том, как связаны DRF и Django, то вас может быть немного это удивит - никак. Их делали совершенно разные люди, но каким-то образом они сошлись в общей концепции: игнор хороших практик, перегруженные классы и магия, превращающая разработчика в гадалку.

Он происходит тихо, почти интимно: менеджеры склоняются над очередным отчётом о сроках, разработчики молча листают тикеты, и все делают вид, что корабль идёт вперёд, хотя штурман давно гребёт в сторону. Это напоминает старый анекдот про то, как команда чинит дырявую лодку на воде, параллельно обсуждая дизайн будущей яхты. В этом и есть суть современной разработки: бесконечный ремонт, замаскированный под «инновации».

Langsam wird es dunkler und kälter draußen, der erste Martinsumzug steht auf der Liste, bald kommen die Weihnachtsmärkte dazu. Aber Anfang November dürfen natürlich die Lichtblicke nicht fehlen. 🌟
🌔 Heute Abend finden in Dudweiler der Mondscheinmarkt und die Lichtblicke statt, mit Kunsthandwerkermarkt sowie Wein- und Sektstand, dazu Backwaren, Blumen, Honig und vielem mehr. Hunger muss auch niemand leiden: Türkische Pizza, thailändische Spezialitäten, Churros, Pasta,… da wird man satt. Außerdem gibt es für die Kleinen ein Kinderkarussell. ❤️
🐴 Ebenso für die Kleinen bietet der Reit- und Fahrverein Dudweiler-Sulzbachtal in der kommenden Woche einen Ferienkurs in der Reitanlage an der Hirschbach an. Wer Reiten und Pferdepflege schon immer mal lernen wollte, wird auf seine Kosten kommen.

DRF captcha своими руками
Пришла мне тут по работе задача сделать возможность добавления товара в корзину пользователем без авторизации. Корзина, причем должна храниться на бэке для того, чтобы можно было проводить аналитику по неоформленным заказам, а также, если пользователь авторизуется, то добавлять эту корзину к его профилю для доступности ее с любых других устройств, на которых он (пользователь авторизован). Ясное дело, что для корзины одного пользователя в сеансе оформления заказа нужен уникальный идентификатор, по которому можно определить в какую “корзину” поместить товар. Так как на проекте мы использует REST подход к проектированию API, я подумал, что можно генерировать uuid ключ на клиенте и передавать его при каждом запросе добавления товара в корзину. Да, все бы хорошо, но возникает потенциальная проблема паразитных запросов от недоброжелателей. Да, безусловно, есть куча всяких способов защититься от троттлинга, но все это кажется мне в этой ситуации не совсем уместным. Поэтому, я решил, что лучше уникальный идентификатор генерировать на бэкенде, а выдавать его при прохождении CAPTCHA .

Heading into weekend wrapping up several days of mindless maintenance on 20ish personal #Django & #DRF learning repos:
- Rebuild projects w/ new #Python versions (3.13.3, etc.)
- Replace safety package in nox tests with pip-audit
- Upgrade projects to Django 5.2
- Drop support for Python 3.10
- Update Sphinx to 8.2.3 (no support for 3.10)Probably some cleanup w/ deprecations in all-auth(?) & middleware.
Too much silly meatspace stuff going on to think much more than this.🎉

Привет, с вами снова Егор, Tech Lead компании ИдаПроджект :) Если забыли, напомню, что я занимаюсь стратегией, процессами и командами в направлении backend разработки. Сегодня мы вместе сделаем минимальное приложение на django + DRF и проведем нагрузочное тестирование с помощью Grafana K6. Также попробуем применить кэширование в Nginx. Будем тестировать как GET-запросы, которые можно и нужно кэшировать, так и POST-запросы, которые кэшировать нельзя. Погнали.

Стоит ли использовать django в 2024? Я думаю - да. DRF очень удобен, скорость разработки очень высока(особенно, если использовать generic views, django-filters), огромное количество готовых батареек сильно облегчает жизнь и встроенная админка хорошо подходит для большинства сайтов. Полностью асинхронные фреймворки(или переход на другой язык) не дадут большого выиграша, если ваш сервис много работает в БД - вы упретесь в её производительность и ограничения количества соединений с пулом бд. Далее я вкратце пробегусь по основным моментам и дам ссылки на документацию и готовые батарейки.

If you run a service that provides an API, what methods can you employ to detect bots?
Datadome can protect against bot[net] attacks, and maybe some use of scripts is ok for people to query data. But what about something in the middle, where someone's scripting something to look like the browser, but they're maybe not playing fair.
