I dreamt I went to someone's house to play video games, and after I'd been playing a while, the man who lived there got upset at me for running his internet bill up. I promised I'd pay him, but he said he needed the money now.
So I set off outside, only to realize I was naked. I hid behind a bush but a stag saw me. He was piebald and had a magnificent rack of antlers. I tried to beckon him over, but he stopped to look at a man in a top hat instead.

I discovered with a friend that the Crossrail project had been a secret conspiracy theory to duplicate the entire London Underground system but at a deeper level and with gothic architecture. Through shafts it connected to various haunted houses in London.
We caught one of the older lines out into the countryside, where we squatted in a reasonably large property until the owner turned up, then went walking in the hills.

Horror dream. I was in my childhood home with family visiting. Someone had invented a time machine in the basement & we sent my cousin down to get it. Just then, a cryptid walked past the window and the vibes went off. Someone left the house to check it out but when they knocked to get back in, they'd turned into a creepy clown (how cliché) and then doors started turning into different types of doors. I noped out by removing a VR headset I'd apparently been wearing, which woke me up.

Wild one last night, full story, situation, complete with terrible sleep 😂😭. I was in a psychiatric hospital while a revolution occurred outside; the government had realised the revolutionists had built a city underground the city and triggered a full battle. We were being broken out by the revolutionaries before we were used for fodder or whatever by the government forces. I remember thinking I would miss the beautiful gardens we had there, along with a girl I'd been flirting with.

Our leader, who had the vibe of Dina Meyer in the Starship Troopers film, realised the only way to sabotage them now was to pretend for her personally to defect, leaving us free to organise with the occupying force expecting us. She did so, leaving me in charge, but my authority was almost immediately challenged by an inexperienced guy on the team. I acquiesed to him, deciding it'd be better to watch him screw up, but somehow he never did.

I was part of a planetside rebel group causing problems for the local imperial occupying force, which has the aeshetic somewhere between space marine and traditional Japanese military. We were trying to cut off a march on a bridge by collapsing it at the right moment, but our explosive charges didn't work—they'd predicted us and deactivated them—and the army passed without incident.

A somewhat Fire Emblem Three Houses dream because my brain is predictable.
As the professor, I got goaded into summoning a demon by a fellow academic I disliked. The demon needed feeding the souls of people who had wronged me in the past, and took me to them, but enough time had past that I barely recognised them, and I think some were children of the people in question. I half-heartedly scared them but ultimately returned to the demon having failed and ready to accept punsihment.

I had a table at a convention and was half way through setting it up when the organisers came up to me and said there'd been a mix up, my table was upstairs instead. Reluctantly I agreed to pack back up and move. The "upstairs" was a dusty attic where I was on my own and although the organisers said there would be an event later on, there clearly wasn't one planned. I set up anyway, and nobody came.

On the battlefield the Doctor had disappeared into a big ol' circular vortex thing, leaving a decent number of modern-era companions to take the battle in his place. River Song was a teacher and had already lost a few students so was trying to protect the rest. In our viewer-role rather than participant-role, I wrote predictions on what would happen next onto social media, and noted that at least this would be a cheap battle to film and produce.

Rose Tyler watched on from above the battlefield through an arched windowed portal, along with several other companions from their time, unable to participate. Rose's world appeared to be just her, her Doctor, and Mickey, who she leaned on heavily for emotional support regarding her doubts about the authenticity of her Doctor.

Doctor Who dream. Some friends and I were critiquing the upcoming finale only to find ourselves involved in-universe with the preparation for it, a medieval battle where wooden staffs needed sharpening and firewood chopped. The Doctor had been revealed to have been able to control his regeneration appearance since Eight had negotiated it with the Time Lords and the baddie was the resulting past regeneration.

I had my piercing checked in on and the place looked more like a stark themed opticians. They persuaded me to try a different stud that looked like a little strawberry in the booklet, but when they fitted it, it was the size of an actual strawberry and looked ridiculous. I told them to swap it back out for the old one, but the optician-piercer got it mixed up with one of their own, and I ended up with a delicate short chain hanging from my nose. I liked it, but it was too irritating.

I dreamed I went to a cozy local restaurant called something like "rabbit and brush" with an absolutely amazing business model that I want so badly to be real. You pay to enter and they give you all you can eat toast and butter, and there's a coin-operated machine that dispenses pesto and marinara and other sauces, and a different one for honey and jam and cinnamon sugar if that's your thing.

I dreamt that a friend of mine who I haven't seen in several years split with his wife. Why? Because she had a secret second family. That other family raised pigs, and painted them to look like zebras. The second husband liked to fuck those painted pigs.

I was playing a competitive escape room where people would try to solve it in pairs at the same time. I discovered that what looked like a wall clock was actually a membrane you could push through, and my teammate and I somehow managed to climb through without anybody else noticing. In this final room, there was just a few puzzles to unlock the last safe and collect the prize. We did so, and locked back up after ourselves to stop people realising until they'd solved it themselves.

I dreamed about a published book called "The Rust Log" containing incorrect code and the associated compiler error logs. I said something like "It seems like people like reading the log". Who was I trolling, in my own dream? I'm not even writing Rust code at the moment. 😕

I was then a flight attendant on the flight in question and we got radioed to say what was going to happen. We all got very scared, and huddled together. My secondary school crush was there and I finally got the nerve up to tell her how I'd felt. She said she wouldn't have been interested at the time but would have been curious to try it out now. (Then I woke up before the explosion.)
I haven't thought about that old crush for many many years, how wild.

I was one of a group of fighters trying to steal the nuclear codes back from a group of thugs that had stolen them and were going to use them on a flight. We had our asses handed to us and when the authorities showed up we were lucky they realised we weren't the thugs before asassinating us.

Convention anxiety dream! Leading into a particular scene from Hokum! Good good all normal here.

I dreamt I emptied a pile of rocks out of Tupperware. These rocks were my supper, and had been my supper before. I sorted out the ones that were too large to swallow whole, and worried about how I would collect them again after digestion. #DreamLog

Another night of many dreams.
I was receiving the delivery of the sapling tree I'd ordered and was trying to hide the contents of the package from the neighbour who was also out front. I took it into the back garden to plant, using the time they were at the front to sneak it into the ground when they wouldn't see it. However, it somewhat fell apart in my hurry, and I ended up having barely more than a centimetre left in the ground.
I expect things to play out identically IRL 😅

I was staying in a holiday resort in a tropical country, where everywhere was flooded with water up to your ankles. I asked the staff about it and they said it was to stop mosquitoes biting people's feet. Also Jeff Bridges was there! It turned out that everybody at the resort knew that the world was about to explode and they were trying to keep it from the guests.

A friend and I were visiting one of our old school premises since there was an event happening in the assembly hall there, but we decided to bail on it half way through because it was too busy. After we left the hallway the dream turned into a somewhat nerve-wracking horror sequence where we had to avoid everyone and find a safe space to hide and rest. We did find refuge in an old dark dusty stairwell until someone set the fire alarm off and everyone started pouring through it.

I got an email from the Spanish profesora basically saying hm, didn't like what we ended up with for the oral exam, you need to record an additional video or I'll have to fail you.
What a surprise after that middle-of-the-night rumination 🙃

y'know those chocolate wafer truffle balls with the gold foil on 'em? one in six of them is a brussels sprout.

A friend had sent me a message with a recommendation for a TV show and it turned out it was some classic #DoctorWho, in which the Fourth Doctor and Leela tried to evade an evil Susan in a hedge maze, except the budget was so low the maze was just a single square enclosure and the actors had to pretend they couldn't see each other.

After losing a ground war on the streets of an unknown town, and avoiding being rounded up because I didn't look like enough of a fighter, I had to infiltrate the headquarters of the enemy along with a couple of friends. We had to make a swift exit and smashed through the walls, fortnuately polystyrene, then tried to parkour away. We were not good at parkour.

I was part of an American family who had to leave home suddenly along with a lot of other people in the same town due to ~reasons~. We walked north along gravel tracks for days, me with a baby younger sibling on my back, until we reached the Canadian border, who were checking people but letting everyone in after questioning them. My other adult (dream-)sibling was with me and we were both sad that our parents had decided to stay behind.
