It's bin a while... #Etüde op. 35
peas on a surfaceSince I am tired of the simple objects like speres, cuboids, cylinders, I started to draw vegetables. A far more interesting subject to practice the fundamentals. I am so happy that I couragously tried the construction. I know it's not perfect. But hey: It's more important to me to practice a lot then hitting a bump every now and then and struggling to draw at all.

#Etüde opus 31
Practicing shading. I wished for a change of object to practice speres, cuboids, cylinders. So I chose a comic like drawing of a Tyrannosaurus rex. Unfortunately I could not find the name of the artist (please let me know, if you recognise her:him).
My focus was cross contour hatching and shading. Still struggling to find the right balance between the three nuances of shades. But getting there. Practice. Practice. Practice.
