Announcement of water reserves in Tehran and 10 other provinces
🔹According to the latest reports, the volume of water in the country's large and important dams is estimated at 19 billion and 240 million cubic meters until 18 Bahman 1404, which has experienced a 13% decrease compared to 22 billion and 170 million cubic meters last year.
🔹The condition of dams in Tehran province is also worrying; Taleghan Dam with 85 million cubic meters, Lar Dam with 10 million cubic meters and Amir Kabir Dam with only 6 million cubic meters have water reserves.The total water volume of Mamlu and Letian dams is 24 million cubic meters.
🔹 The water volume reduction of Tehran dams has been estimated between 24 and 78% in some cases.Based on the available statistics, 11 dams in the country have a water volume of less than 10 million cubic meters, including Amirkabir and Lar dams in Tehran, Targah dam in Razavi Khorasan, Tehm and Kinewors dams in Zanjan, Tanguieh Sirjan dam in Kerman, Akbatan and Abshineh dams in Hamedan, Vashamgir, Golestan and Bostan dams in Golestan, Rudbal dam in Fars and Nahrin Dam in South Khorasan.
