I went into The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry completely blind and left emotionally DESTROYED 😭​
The story is kind of messy if you nitpick… but somehow that makes it feel even more human.
Such a heartfelt movie.

Here's an example of #China using cinematic feature films as #nationalist #propaganda. It's a very well done, high budget film. You can see how dramatic films like these are used to promote nationalistic pride. These state approved propaganda films are disguised as entertainment & are designed to brainwash citizens, over time.

It's really not that different than how the USA film industry creates a lot of state approved propaganda films that aid/abet nationalistic BS too.
