Religious zealots forced #SCOINDIA to give it a veneer of respectability despite any proof that #Rama was born at that specific geolocation in #Ayodhya.
That set an ugly precedent, and we are already seeing #DragonTeeth appear in other locations, most recently in #Varanasi #India

At the time of partition in 1947 people were free to CHOOSE which side of the 2 borders they wanted to live in.Most #Muslims chose E or W #Pakistan, but many chose #secular #India.
Are you familiar with #VijayaDashmi & #Muharram, both of which frequently fall on the same day, with massive processions of #Hindus & massive processions of #Muslims winding simultaneously through narrow streets?
Both sides did live in communal harmony until #Hindutva.
