Square Enix has revealed that Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition arrives on Switch 2 Sept 24.
It includes all previous Definitive content alongside new optimization modes to prioritize graphics or performance.

Yesterday, I finished the main story of #DragonQuestXIS I loved the fortress of fear and the treasure I found there. You really feel that you're in for a big final battle because you keep finding new recipes in chests. So I was forging away lol. The last battle went well because I was a bit overleveled and had Sylvando by my side singing and dancing. Then the credits rolled, and it seems like there's a post-adventure we undertake after we saved the world. Glad it's not over yet :) #videogames

I think some games should implement a little summary of our previous gaming session like they do in #DragonQuestXIS. It would have helped me catch up on #SeaOfStars, for example, and other games I haven't touched since. It's called "Here's what's happened so far!" and presents us with a summary of the story so far. It's quite detailed, too. Very good idea! #Videogames
