Very happy to see that #DragonflyDB has patched an issue that will hopefully resolve an edge case that affects #Mastodon

Swapping #Redis out for #dragonflydb appears to have halved the Boot time recorded in my Nextclouds profiler. Probably not truly accurate as it's tested over the internet so who knows what's really influencing things. But it's easier to configure using environment variables so that's nice. #selfhosting

Further testing tweaks on my #Nextcloud instance, I tried out #dragonflydb It's a drop in replacement for #redis that claims it's got significant performance improvements. It's very hard to say if it's helping or not tbh.
