The real success rate for #DP25 is 12.9% because 4147 EOIs were submitted.

Of those, 1141 were shortlisted & invited to submit full apps. 1132 ended up being submitted.

ARC has included a bit more information about the assessment of the Expressions of Interest.

In particular, some explanation that there may or may not be some overlap between the 3 College assessors on an EOI and the 2 on the corresponding full app👇

Has anyone managed to get a straight answer from the ARC about whether the two College assessors of a full app will be

(a) definitely the same;
(b) definitely not the same; or
(c) possibly the same

as 2 of the 3 EOI assessors?

ARC has opened full applications for #DiscoveryProjects #DP25.

EOI info is copied across to full app form, without possibility to change it. Good.

I wondered whether EOI 2-page Project Description would be included in full app & available to assessors. DMers report it isn't.

Full apps are due to ARC on 4 June.

I don't know.

My guess: No public list. They'll just post on their website that outcomes are available in your RMS account. I hope they just email outcomes directly to applicants (like for #IM24).

Only just submitted your EOI, right? Well, outcomes are due Mon–Wed next week!

ARC want 50% of full apps funded. With 4149 EOIs submitted & 421 funded in DP24, expect ~20–25% of EOIs to be invited to full app.

Apparently*, 4149 EOIs were submitted to the ARC.

If, like last year, 421 are eventually funded, that’s a 10% success rate 🤪

Also means ~20% of EOIs will be invited to submit a full app coz ARC previously said full apps would have ~50% success rate.

Only new info is confirmation that Guidelines are already awaiting Minister’s approval. That is, it’s happening.

WithARC intending this for #DP25, they'll need to have presented Minister with Guidelines to approve already (or very, very soon). Guidelines need to be released publicly in Oct/Nov for DP25 to open in Jan (EOIs due in March).

So … not clear if any feedback will be considered😡
