Will be running around a lot today, and the time that I do have available I’ll probably be tired and not really able to focus on anything too long. So today’s #dp3 is just a #dp1 and something important but not especially taxing: continuing to sort through my emails and reorganising our shared drive to make things easier to find, as part of my handover.

My #dp3 is a #dp1 today … and is also what gas has been occupying much of my time lately : dress rehearsal for the WGL evaluation of @tibhannover coming up next month. “critical friends” from institutions like DNB, Wiley, @ZBMED , PTB Braunschweig, @SLUBDresden and TH Köln will check how well prepared we are.

Having another Digital Asset Register toolkit writing day, so it's a #DP1 rather than #DP3. Made good progress last week, so hoping to have it at least half done by the end of today and ready for review by the funders of the work, The National Archives (UK) in early February.

Not quite well yet, but I’ve been sick for two weeks, so I’m making a judgement call that I’m well enough to transition back to work again. Today’s #DP3 would ideally only be a #DP1:

1. Do a thorough stocktake of everything that’s been happening to try and seize control again of the mess that’s happened first while I was away, then when I fell sick

But unfortunately there’s also an urgent second item:

2. Draft minutes for management this morning.
