@lookitmychicken when I was starting Korean language learning I appreciated a lot the #kdrama Do You Like Brahms.
They speak slowly, so inevitably many words are easily understandable.
They speak in casual polite register.
There are no swear words or idioms Korean use when they are angry.
It's slow and it allows to focus on dialogues. -

It has many qualities, for instance it's one of the few dramas portraying the Korean countryside life and mentality, however I have to admit that the relationship between the leads (#KimSeolHyun and #ImSiWan, two excellent actors!) is too platonic for my liking.

This is not the type of drama I usually enjoy. It is slow, the storyline has no big twists and no action. BUT. It is a nice love story and it is perfect for learning Korean. I understood more sentences with this drama than ever. Everyone speaks politely by ending verbs with 요. They speak slowly too with mostly short sentences. There's no shouting or angry talk.
And #KimMinJae has a wonderful smile 😉!
