Es geht um ein Lenovo ThinkPad T470, dass ich schon länger hab, bis ich merkte, dass Lenovo für das #T470 auch ein Windows 7 #Downgrade angeboten hat. Lenovos Treiber funktionieren einwandfrei. Nur der Grafiktreiber für die #KabyLake #iGPU ist eine Herausforderung. Mit einer dedizierten Grafikkarte von nVidia oder AMD wäre das natürlich ganz anders. Mit der Umleitung auf den Abschnitt [iSKLD_w7] läuft die Installation durch, der ist aber für Skylake gedacht und ist nicht identisch mit [iKBLD_w7]

Ein #Downgrade auf Version N - die bei mir früher anstandslos lief - scheitert in jeglichem Versuch, da selbst die Originaldatei als ungültig angesehen wird.
Frühere Versionen vor O gibt es nur noch auf der Webseite. Und selbst diese wird als ungültig gewertet. Ich bin ratlos. Und es ist auch enttäuschend.

Minął zaledwie tydzień od premiery systemu iOS 26, a Apple już zamknęło furtkę dla użytkowników, którzy nie byli zadowoleni z aktualizacji i chcieli powrócić do starszej wersji oprogramowania.
Firma przestała podpisywać system iOS 18.6.2, co w praktyce uniemożliwia oficjalny downgrade z najnowszej wersji systemu operacyjnego dla iPhone’ów.
Zaprzestanie podpisywania starszej wersji oprogramowania to standardowa procedura stosowana przez Apple. W praktyce oznacza to, że serwery firmy nie będą już autoryzować (czyli „podpisywać”) prób instalacji iOS 18.6.2. Każda próba przywrócenia tej wersji za pomocą komputera zakończy się błędem. Dla użytkowników, którzy zaktualizowali swoje urządzenia do iOS 26 i borykają się z problemami, takimi jak krótszy czas pracy na baterii czy błędy w aplikacjach, oznacza to konieczność czekania na kolejną aktualizację od Apple, która potencjalnie rozwiąże te problemy.
Głównym powodem, dla którego Apple blokuje możliwość powrotu do starszych wersji iOS, jest bezpieczeństwo. Nowe aktualizacje, oprócz wprowadzania nowych funkcji, zawierają również łatki krytycznych luk bezpieczeństwa, które zostały zidentyfikowane w poprzednich wydaniach.
