Overview
The Town of Castine is home to the Maine Maritime Academy and located toward the southwestern end of Hancock County. While the permanent population of the community is under two thousand residents, Castine remains heavily influential thanks to the Maine Maritime Academy, though also, of course, thanks to the Wilson Museum and the Castine Scientific Society located nearby.

Overview The Town of Gouldsboro is located in the lower coastal portion of the Down East in Hancock County, Maine. Located relatively southeast in the county along Route 186 is Elsa’s Inn and Harbor Bed and Breakfast, while the Red Barn Motel of Milbridge in Washington County along Route 1 is also located fairly nearby for motorists.
